FANTASIAS

I was born in Vienna, Austria, on the 6th of February 1922. Ιn 1938 I migrated with my parents, Franz and Stefanie Pollak, to Argentina. I learned to paint from an artist in the Academy of Arts of Vienna, Eichorn. In the Circle of Fine Arts of Buenos Aires I painted nudes with a teacher. I participated in exhibitions in Buenos Aires and Mar del Plata. I made a living by designing prints for lace. That is how I met my husband, August Wild, of Swiss origin. In 1949 we had a daughter together called Vivian. In 1962 we moved to Basel, Switzerland. I opened an antique store in an historic building. In 1996 I moved to Panajachel, Guatemala, in order to live with my daughter, where I participated in various exhibitions. My recent work consists of collages.
